Welcome and Brief Announcements
Invocation
Holy Wonder, Crafter of the Universe, wild and free is your Spirit. Come and rouse our longings. Stir our imaginations. Liberate our thinking. Where we have grown more attached to the familiar than to your hopes for us, help us to release control. May we be willing to take the risks necessary to bring about the world we desire. Amen.
Call to Worship
Toward a new day, Jesus Christ calls us…
Come, and follow me
With our unique gifts and our humanity, Jesus Christ calls us…
Come, and follow me
Anticipating our fears and understanding our anxieties, Jesus Christ call us…
Come, and follow me
Having heard, received, and believed the Good News of Jesus Christ, let us take our next, new steps together….
Come, and let us follow Jesus Christ.

Scripture
Prayer of Confession
Holy One, what a blessing and privilege we share
here in this sacred space and among this loving community. But, like Jonah, we sometimes are jealous of what we share here. We know that others are longing and thirsting for what we know and experience. Forgive us our reluctance to open our doors, open our hearts to others; some like us, some not. We repent of our hesitations and unwillingness to witness to those we have considered strangers and even enemies for fear they just might become friends.
Invitation to Silence
Words of Assurance
The one who calls us to this place calls us to reconciliation through grace. God will not deny a repentant heart or an open spirit. Know that you are forgiven and walk in the new way that is made known to you in God’s love. Thanks be to God. Amen.
Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

Prayer Concerns, Pastoral Prayer, Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Benediction
Let us now go forth into the world in peace, being of good courage, holding fast to that which is good, rendering unto no one evil for evil, strengthening the faint hearted, supporting the weak, helping the afflicted, serving all people, loving and serving God, and rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God. Amen.
